This is such a great looking car, from this angle especially. They should sell this as a factory special edition. If this was a Volkswagen the press would be raving about it.

to reply to your comment about the press loving it if it was a vw Steph, i think that if VW was putting 4x4 body styling on a mk4 golf instead of replacing it with the mk5 golf... the press would slam it just as badly. They are just richer than MGR so they can afford to bring out newer cars sooner... i think the new streetwise is nice but once again it is disguising a 7 year old rover 200 bubble shape
dont get me wrong though im Britain all the way with my ZED R

To be honest its really the way the whole 25 range should look now. Im just amazed at how modern it looks considering the sheet metal is unaltered. Im tempted to say i love it but christ what a name to give the poor thing

I have probably already posted this, but Oh! well! I absolutely love the way this car looks from the rear with these dealer added mods. Totally brilliant. Imho If the ZS's and other facelift's look as good as this, next year could see MG-R's reputation as a designer and purveyor of innovative (even if the Audi Allroad was the inspiration) vehicles go through the roof.

Looks more chunky and cool than the standard StreetWise. Hope to fit those accessories if I buy one of these. I am surprised they suffer a poor image, in this world of 4x4 type thingies.
